Review-related activity

Central directions of SEC NRS activity in the field of review include

• Safety Review (safety analysis review) in respect to the nuclear facilities and (or) the licensed types of activities in the field of use of atomic energy is considered as the component of the procedure of activity licensing performed in the field of use of atomic energy in the Russian Federation. This procedure is stipulated by the Federal law No. FZ-170 “On the Use of Atomic Energy”.
• Review of Software, used to demonstrate the safety analysis of the designs, the engineering solutions, parameters, modes of operation which influence the safety of nuclear facilities along with the software applied in the process systems to ensure the safety of nuclear facilities.
