Meeting on the issue of NRS supervision at nuclear fuel cycle facilities for the expired period

25.10.2012 On October 24, 2012 the scheduled meeting on the issue of NRS supervision at nuclear fuel cycle facilities for the expired period was held in the SEC NRS conference hall.

The meeting was attended by: E.G. Kudryavtsev, Head of Rostechnadzor Department 6; specialists of Rostechnadzor Headquarters, including E.V. Kasyanov, Rostechnadzor Chairman Assistant; leadership and representatives of the Rostechnadzor Interregional Territorial Departments: Volga, Ural, North-European, Siberia and Far East; as well as SEC NRS leadership and employees.

The meeting participants were presented reports on the actual issues of nuclear and radiation safety:

4. A.V. Guskov, “Development of the draft Safety Guide “Safety Assessment for RW Near-Surface Disposal Facilities”.
5. V.V. Bochkarev, “Decommissioning of nuclear facilities”.
6. E.V.Novikova, Maintenance of the database on store and disposal facilities for RW generated as a result of the previous activity and implementation of calculated estimates for radiation safety thereof.
7. A.V. Balalaechnikov, “Major results of information and analytical support to Rostechnadzor activity”.
8. T.V. Sinitsyna, “Equipping the inspector work place with regulatory legal acts applying the IAEA recommendations, regulatory documents in the field of nuclear and radiation safety”.

The meeting participants noted the vitality of the issues touched upon, high level of the conduct arrangement, as well as friendly and open atmosphere for the event.
