“Young Specialists Awards – 2012”

26.12.2012 On December 26, 2012 at the Scientific and Technical Conference “Young Specialists Awards – 2012” the results were summed up for the annual competition of scientific and research papers of SEC NRS young specialists.

Based on the results of assessment of the submitted written reports and presentations, the Competition Commission at the Conference decided on the following winners:

Top award:
* Maxim Gennadievich Moschenko “Analysis of Efficiency of the Mechanical Compression as a Measure to Prevent Corrosion Cracking of Austenite Pipelines of RMBK Reactors”.

Second award:
* Svetlana Alexandrovna Korableva “Hazard Computation Estimate for Rupture of NPP Pipelines in Operation with the Detected Defects”;
* Alexey Vladimirovich Rodin “Oxidation Processes in Extraction Systems Used in SNF Processing in Conditions of a Sealed Apparatus”.

Third award:
* Kirill Yurievich Sokolov “Creation of a Calculation Cluster for Calculations for the Purposes of Safety Analysis Assessment in Management of SNF, Optimization of the Parallel Computing using Computer Code PSG2/SERPENT”;
* Sergey Anatolievich Khizhnyak “Using PSA in Inspection Activity”;
* Anna Sergeyevna Mishagina “Study of Application of Computer Complexes MELODIE and Ecolego 4.4 for Simulation of Radionuclides Migration from Near-Surface RW Storages”.
