SEC NRS specialists took part in the 9th Moscow International Forum “Accurate Measurements - the Basis of Quality and Safety”

23.05.2013 In period from May 21 to 23, 2013 the All-Russian Exhibition Center hosted the 9th Moscow International Forum “Accurate Measurements - the Basis of Quality and Safety” in support of the state policy in the area of modernization and technological development of the Russian economics.

The arranger of the event was the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Technology (Rosstandart) under the auspices of the Central Office of the Government of the Russian Federation and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

“Accurate Measurements - the Basis of Quality and Safety” is the largest and most distinguished all-Russian forum in the area of instrumentation, where the representatives from the scientific and technical society, authorities and business get acquainted with the latest achievements of the global instrumentation, discuss actual problems that the Russian industry faces to ensure global competitive ability and full-scale integration into the modern worldwide market of products and services due to introduction of innovative measurement technologies.

In frames of the Forum the special-purpose exhibitions were held for:

- measuring tools, test equipment and metrological support – “MetrolExpo”
- nondestructive inspection aids, diagnostics means, I&C and “Control&Diagnostic”
- accounting of energy resources “ResMetering”
- laboratory equipment “LabEquipment”
- automated process control system “AutomaticSystem”
- devices for measuring, control and testing of the medical-purpose equipment and items “MedTest”
- special weighing point for laboratory and industrial weighing equipment

On the area of about 6.500 m2 the Exhibition expositions were presented by Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Ministry of Energy of Russia, Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, RF Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, ROSCOSMOS - Federal Space agency of the Russian Federation, Rostechnadzor, Federal Service for the Supervision of Public Health and Social Development, Skolkovo Foundation, SC ROSATOM, GC Rostec, RUSNANO JSC, RZD JSC, RAS, 35 regional SMC centers and 8 meteorological institutes, more than 300 companies from 12 countries from all over the world, which demonstrated above 2.500 items of measurement equipment for all the industrial fields.
