On February 10, 2014 on the site of Novovoronezh NPP-2 started training of ТАЕК specialists, organized by SEC NRS 10.02.2014 On February 10 in the Training Centre of Novovoronezh NPP-2 started training of ten specialists from the Turkish Atomic Energy Agency (ТАЕК), organized by SEC NRS. Training of specialists of the Turkish regulatory authority have been conducted from February 10 up to March 7 on the basis of Novovoronezh NPP-2 in frames of implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on cooperation with regard to construction and operation of a nuclear power plant on the “AKKUYU” site in the Republic of Turkey, as well as Intergovernmental Agreement between Rostechnadzor and ТАЕК on cooperation in the field of licensing and supervision over nuclear safety. Considering the specifics, the training of ТАЕК specialists is organized with active assistance of Don Interregional Territorial Department of Rostechnadzor, JSC “Concern Rosenegrgoatom” and its branches in Novovoronezh, JSC “Atomtechenergo”, JSC “Atomenergoproekt”. Alongside with the lectures on fundamental and special courses, such as “NPP Site”, “Construction and Fire Safety Oversight”, “Radiation Protection, Waste Recycling, Emergency Planning”, “Instrumentation and Control Devices”, “Electricity Generating Plants”, “Inspection and Quality Management System”, “Operator, NPP Personnel Training”, “Reactor Systems” and “Mechanical Systems”, the training program envisages a visit to the site of the Novovoronezh NPP under construction. In total, 29 ТАЕК specialists will receive training.
