VIII International exhibition and conference “AtomEco-2015” will be organized by ROSATOM in November

31.08.2015 VIII International exhibition and conference “AtomEco-2015” will take place on November 9 – 11, 2015 in Moscow, International Trade Centre. The State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM organizes this event.

The main purpose of this event will be discussion of the comprehensive implementation of programs related with solving of “nuclear legacy” and presentation of results of the Federal Target Programm-1 “Ensuring of Nuclear and Radiation Safety for 2008 and for the period until 2015”.
Besides that the “AtomEco-2015” participants will discuss perspectives and plans in connection to new challenges in the sphere of nuclear and radiation safety. The necessary conditions for international cooperation and participation of foreign companies in implementation of the Federal Target Programm-2 “Ensuring of Nuclear and Radiation Safety for 2016 and for the period until 2030” will be submitted for discussion.

Under agenda items, the plenary meetings, thematic sessions and round table discussions will be organized to pay considerable attention to the understanding of purposes, challenges and ways to achieve the ecological safety of nuclear-power engineering. “Complex Realization of Programmes of “Nuclear Legacy” Utilization – Effective Impulse for Nuclear Development “ will be the key theme of the plenary session.

The international conference “Decommissioning of Nuclear Installations: Strategies, Practices and Challenges” will be held for the first time in Russia. This conference will be organized by Nuclear Energy Agency of Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD NEA) and supported by State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM. This conference aims to address different aspects of the final stage of nuclear facilities lifecycle.

The representatives from Russian and foreign companies will deploy demonstrations on the exhibition area to present emerging technologies and equipment aimed at minimization of harmful impacts to the environment including in the course of industrial waste processing, radwaste and spent nuclear fuel management.

Representatives from international organizations, the Federal and regional governmental authorities, top management of the world’s nuclear industry companies, representatives of international and Russian scientific, business and expert communities of the nuclear industry along with representatives of State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM and its subordinated enterprises take participation in this event.

International exhibition and conference “AtomEco-2015” is designed to provide an opportunity for participants to increase their relations with scientific and business partners and to demonstrate their products and services to the Russian and international business community.
