Expert Council for Software Certification within the powers of Rostechnadzor has certified 12 software tools

On April 17, 2018, the scheduled 72nd meeting of the Expert Council for Software Certification within the powers of Rostechnadzor took place in SEC NRS. The Council took the positive decision on approval of certificates for the following software:

• PRISMA-M” Version 1.3 and “PRISMA-M” Version 1.4, certified for calculation of the core process parameters during their monitoring in the process of operation of the reactor plant with RBMK-1000, including the reactor plants, which had undertaken a complex of measures to recover their lifetime characteristics (the software developer is JSC “NIKIET”);
• SADCO 10.1”, certified for neutronic calculations of the reactor plant with RBMK-1000, including the reactor plants, which had undertaken a complex of measures to recover their lifetime characteristics (the software developer is JSC “NIKIET”);
• MNT-CUDA”, certified for calculation of neutronic characteristics of the reactor plant with RBMK. The Software ensures calculations with the use of calculators based on graphic processors (the software developer is VNIIAES JSC);
• BOKR”, “TROYKA”, and “POLARIS”, certified for joint steady neutronic calculation of the reactor plant with RBMK-1000, including the reactor plants, which had undertaken a complex of measures to recover their lifetime characteristics (the software developer is VNIIAES JSC);
• TIGER-1”, certified for joint neutron and thermohydraulic calculation of non-steady processes in reactor plants with VVER (the software developers are NRC “Kurchatov Institute” and JSC “Afrikantov OKBM”);
• TIGER-SK”, certified for calculation of thermal and hydraulic characteristics of reactor plants with VVER in steady operation modes with the account of intra-loop coolant mixing (the software developer is OKB “GIDROPRESS”);
• GeRa/V1”, certified for 3-D computation of non-steady isothermal problems of filtration and multicomponent transfer in non-homogenous and anisotropic geological environments (the software developer is IBRAE RAS);
• Khortitsa-M”, certified for computation of power density field within the core volume in the process of operation of the reactor plant with VVER (the software developer is NRC “Kurchatov Institute”).

The validity of the certificate for “MCU-REA/1.1” (with the constants’ library DLC/MCUDAT-2.2), intended for calculation of the effective multiplication factor for the reactor plant with RBMK-1000, has been prolonged for 10 years (the software developer is NRC “Kurchatov Institute”).
