In frames of the International Agreement between the Department of Energy of the USA (DoE) and the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia in the course of implementation of the programme “Physical Protection, Accounting and Control of Nuclear Material”, SEC NRS completed the following activities in 2014:

• Order No. 59 Preparation of the new revision of “Safety Guide. Arrangement of Conduct of Physical Inventory of Nuclear Material”. The document is intended for specification of the recommended procedures for arrangement of conduct of the physical inventory of nuclear material.
• Order No. 60 Development of the regulatory document “Safety Guide. Recommendations on the Use of Seals in Accounting and Control of Nuclear Material”. The document is intended for specification of the recommended procedures for the use of seals in accounting and control of nuclear material by a facility.

Within the reported period SEC NRS specialists took part in four meetings of the joint working group of Rostechnadzor and the Department of Energy of the USA.
