SEC NRS is training specialists from VARANS

26.11.2012 In frames of implementation of the Agreement between Rostechnadzor and Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (VARANS) on cooperation in the field of nuclear and radiation safety, as well as in compliance with the achieved agreements of leadership of two agencies, SEC NRS conducts training of 6 specialists from VARANS on November 26, 2012 on the topic “Safety Regulation Fundamentals in the Field of Atomic Energy Use. Computer Tools and Codes, Applied by Rostechnadzor”. Beside the theoretical part, on-the-job training program includes practical tasks at the SEC NRS analytical simulators, including software complex “Raduga-EU”. The period of training in SEC NRS lasts 3 weeks. Previously, the Vietnamese specialists attended (within a one-week period) the input theoretical course on fundamentals of the VVER technology and NPP systems at the Non-public Educational Establishment of Advanced Professional Training “Central Advanced Training Institute” (Obninsk).
