13.04.2013 SEC NRS hosted a working meeting with the delegation of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on share of experience in determination of the site selection criteria for the Rooppur NPP13.04.2013 On April 11-12, 2013 in frames of the visit to Moscow of the delegation of the People's Republic of Bangladesh headed by Dr. M. Asaduzzaman Khan, Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology, SEC NRS held a working meeting with the leadership and leading specialists of the scientific and technical support organization (TSO) for Rostechnadzor on share of experience in determination of the site selection criteria for the Rooppur NPP.

In the course of the meeting the SEC NRS representatives informed the Bangladeshi colleagues on the Centre activity for scientific and technical support of the Russian regulatory body, familiarized them with the fundamental principles for a site acceptability assessment for NPP siting in the Russian Federation, and also demonstrated the operation of the software simulation complex “Raduga-EU”.
