SEC NRS accreditation as an expert organization

12.05.2014 SEC NRS has been accredited as an expert organization to be involved into supervision activities in compliance with the spheres of state regulation (supervision) in the field of use of atomic energy (Accreditation Certificate No. РОСС RU.0001.410200 dd. April 14, 2014).

As an expert organization SEC NRS can be involved in supervision of the following types of activities:

- support of activities on investigation of causes of accidents, operational occurrences and failures and emergency situations of man-induced nature as well as mitigation of consequences thereof at nuclear facilities, hazardous production facilities and electricity generation facilities

- conduct of applied scientific researches including those in the sphere of nuclear facilities safety ensuring

- works (services) to perform examinations, researches, reviews and other types of assessments in the course of regulatory and supervisory activities, regarding:

adherence to the requirements of the federal norms and rules in the field of use of atomic energy; permits (licenses) granting the right to perform works in the field of use of atomic energy;

nuclear, radiation, occupational and fire safety of nuclear facilities

nuclear security of nuclear installations, radiation sources, storage facilities for nuclear materials and radioactive substances

systems of the Unified state accounting and control of nuclear materials, radioactive substances, radioactive wastes

adherence to legislation requirements established in the field of radioactive waste management within the competence of Rostechnadzor

fulfillment of the RF international commitments with regard to ensuring safety at use of atomic energy.
