SEC NRS took part in MDEP Steering Technical Committee Meeting in Washington

25.01.2016 The Steering Technical Committee Meeting of the Multinational Design Evaluation Program (MDEP) took place at the US NRC Headquarters in Washington D.C., USA from 19 to 21 January, 2016. The meeting was attended by SEC NRS representatives.
In the course of the MDEP STC meeting the status of new NPP design evaluation and the results of activities of MDEP working groups were discussed.
Dr. Sergey Bogdan, SEC NRS Deputy Director, Chair of VVER Working Group informed the participants of the meeting on VVERWG and its technical subgroups current activities and plans as well as the status of new NPPs construction in Russia. The VVERWG activity was evaluated by STC as productive.
