SEC NRS delegation participated in EUROSAFE Forum and ETSON Board and General Assembly Meetings in Munich

11.11.2016 SEC NRS delegation headed by Director A. Khamaza participated in the annual EUROSAFE Forum held on November 7-8 in Munich (Germany).

The Forum agenda included the plenary session and 5 seminars on the following topics:

•    Nuclear installation safety – assessment;
•    Nuclear installation Safety – research;
•    Waste management and decommissioning&dismantling;
•    Radiation protection, environment and emergency preparedness;
•    Security of nuclear installations and materials.

During the seminars the representatives of SEC NRS delivered the following presentations:
«Scientific and Technical Support to the Regulatory Body within the Framework of MDEP VVER WG Activity», «Scientific and Technical Support to Technical and Emergency Center of Rostechnadzor», «Violations Analysis Methodology in the System of Accounting and Control of Nuclear Materials in the Russian Federation».  

The meetings of the ETSON Board and General Assembly as well as the Knowledge Management Group (KMG) and ETSON Research Group (ERG) were held on the 9th of November. SEC NRS has been a member of ETSON (European Technical Safety Organizations Network) since 2012.
