RB-134-17 has come into effect

On November 16, 2017 the Safety Guide RB-134-17 “Recommended Methods for Assessment and Prediction of Accident Radiological Consequences at Nuclear Fuel Cycle Facilities” has come into effect. The Safety Guide is intended to be applied by the engineering, design, scientific research and operating organizations in the course of substantiation of safety of nuclear fuel cycle facilities, as well as by Rostechnadzor, when assessing a safety analysis for nuclear fuel cycle facilities. The Safety Guide includes the methods recommended by Rostechnadzor for assessment and prediction of accident radiological consequences beyond the boundaries of sites of nuclear fuel cycle facilities, caused by releases during accidents at the next nuclear fuel cycle facilities:
