RB-143-18 has come into effect

On May 15, 2018, the Safety Guide RB-143-18 "Recommendations on the Development of Quality Assurance Programs in Construction of Nuclear Facilities" has been put into effect.

The Safety Guide contains recommendations of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia on the development of QAPs in the process of construction of newly built nuclear facilities.

The Safety Guide RB-143-18 covers the activity of operating organizations and organizations, which perform works and render services to the operating organizations in the course of construction of nuclear facilities (including mounting, adjustment, commissioning of nuclear facilities), except for ships and other floating crafts with nuclear reactors, spacecrafts and aircrafts, and other transport and transportable nuclear installations.

The Safety Guide is intended to be applied by specialists involved in the development of the QAP in construction of a nuclear facility.
