05.09.2018 On September 3, 2018 the Ministry of Justice of Russia registered the Order of Rostechnadzor No. 278 of June 27, 2018 about approval of the Federal Safety Regulations in the Field of Atomic Energy Use “Requirements to Planning of Measures for Actions and Protection of Personnel at Nuclear and Radiological Accidents on Vessels and Other Watercraft with Nuclear Reactors” NP-079-18.

The Federal Safety Regulations in the Field of Atomic Energy Use “Requirements to Planning of Measures for Actions and Protection of Personnel at Nuclear and Radiological Accidents on Vessels and Other Watercraft with Nuclear Reactors” (NP-079-18) stipulates the requirements to planning of measures for actions and protection of personnel at nuclear and (or) radiological accidents on vessels and other watercraft with nuclear reactors; to the content of the action plan and personnel protection at nuclear and (or) radiological accidents on vessels and other watercraft with nuclear reactors in the process of their construction and commissioning, operation and decommissioning, as well as the criteria and procedure for declaration of such states as “Emergency preparedness” and “Emergency Situation”. The requirements of the Federal Safety Regulations cover the vessels and other watercraft with nuclear reactors, including floating power units, being under construction, operation and decommissioning.
