SEC NRS will take part in the XVII Russian National Research and Practice Conference

The conference is organized by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.

Aim of the conference: enhancement of the system for monitoring and prognosis of natural and man-made emergencies which is compliant with modern requirements for public safety.

Topics of the research and practice conference:

• Condition and trends for the enhancement of a system for monitoring, laboratory control and prognosis of natural and man-made emergencies (SMFE);
• Regulatory and methodological support of SMFE;
• Methodological support of the technologies for emergency monitoring and prognosis;
• Scientific and practical achievements for natural and man-made emergency monitoring and forecast technologies;
• Technological capabilities of emergencies aftermath prognosis and their simulation;
• Response to prognosis information (development of preventive measures and emergency response measures);
• Monitoring and prognosis of emergencies resulting from dangerous natural phenomena and processes, technosphere hazards;
• Risk assessment of emergency occurrence.

Junior researcher of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Division Mr. D. Sorokin will present a paper “On the recommended methods of nuclear installation accidents aftermath evaluation”.

SEC NRS will traditionally participate in the exhibition dedicated to the subject matter of the conference.
