SEC NRS will present a report on RB-134-17 at EMERCOM Conference

29.10.2018 On October 30-31, 2018 XVII Russian National Research and Practice Conference “Emergency situations prognosis issues” will be held in Moscow. The conference is organized by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.

SEC NRS will traditionally take part in the exhibition dedicated to the subject matter of the conference and present a paper on RB-134-17.

Junior researcher of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Division Mr. D. Sorokin will present a paper “On the recommended methods of nuclear installation accidents aftermath evaluation”.

In order to facilitate compliance with the requirements of the NP-016-05 concerning nuclear installation accidents aftermath evaluation SEC NRS authors developed the Safety Guide “Recommended methods of nuclear installation accidents aftermath evaluation and prognosis”.

The developed Safety Guide incorporated radiation aftermath evaluation approaches based on the best Russian and international experience, and SEC NRS report is a brief overview of these approaches.
