NP-055, NP-058, NP-069: amendments

Certain federal rules and regulations in the field of atomic energy use dedicated to safety regulation of radioactive waste management were amended.

In particular, paragraphs 2, 5, 8 and 42 of the NP-069-14 “Near-surface disposal of radioactive waste. Safety requirements” were amended, and paragraph 17 became invalid.

Paragraphs 2, 5, 22, 34, 48 and 73 of the NP-058-14 “Safe radioactive waste management. General requirements” were amended, and paragraphs 48.1 and 48.2 were added to the document.

Paragraphs 2, 12, 20, 58, 74 and 99 of the NP-055-14 “Radioactive waste disposal. Principles, criteria and basic safety requirements” were amended.

Full text of the amendments is published as an Annex to the Order #582 of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service from November 22, 2018. The Order will enter into force on December 24, 2018.
