Enactment of NP-075-19

On November 22, 2019, the Federal Safety Regulations NP-075-19 “Requirements to Content of the Personnel Protection Action Plan in Case of an Accident at Nuclear Research Facilities” has come into effect.

NP-075-19 stipulates the requirements to the content of personnel protection action plans in case of an accident at nuclear research facilities under construction, operation, and decommissioning, and specifies the procedure for their development and introduction of amendments and additions.

The requirements cover personnel protection actions to be carried out at the site of a nuclear research facilities and its operating organization, as well as in sanitary protection area.
